Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards

The Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards is the PIF Foundation’s fundraising gala that will recognize and celebrate transformational Hip Hop artists (the “Awardees”) who have not received economic rewards proportional to their exceptional contributions to art and culture.

The inaugural Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards will be held on November 17, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The initial Awardees are Rakim and Scarface, and each Awardee will receive an Artist Award.

The Future

The PIF Foundation is considering the development of a needs-based grant program to provide assistance to artists who are experiencing economic difficulty which is preventing them from fully pursuing their artistic careers. The needs-based grants could be used by the awardees to assist with the costs of healthcare, housing, and food.
